Pharmacology & Therapeutics
This subject deals with knowledge about drugs and their applications. The objective is to provide need based integrated basic pharmacology for a safe and effective prescribing. It is a part of 2nd Professional MBBS examination according to new curriculum-2021. Examination system is designed with formative and summative assessment. The total teaching hours are 195 (100 hours lecture, 50 hours practical, 30 hours tutorial and 15 hours for clinical Pharmacology). Total marks in professional examination is 300 (written:90, formative assessment:10, practical:100 and structured oral examination:100).
