Microbiology
The Department of Microbiology is a collaborative group of teachers who provide cutting-edge education, innovative research, and expertise in medical microbiology. Microbiology is the study of microscopic organisms and comprises various sub-disciplines, including: 1. Bacteriology, 2. Virology. 3. Parasitology. 4. Mycology 5. And Immunology. All Systems contain medically relevant bacteria, viruses, and parasites.
Academic activities:
This department typically deals with epidemiology, biostatistics and research methodology, environmental health, health education, health planning and management as well as addressing social determinants of health.
